Our History
|
The Millennium III concept is just the latest in a
tradition of innovations introduced by R.A. Faganel Builders since John Faganel built his
first custom home in Elmhurst in 1929. In the ensuing years, Robert Faganel (John's son)
and David Faganel (Robert's son) have built over 1800 homes in prestigious single-family
and multi-family communities in the western suburbs.
|
| One of the most important facets of the R.A.
Faganel success story is their ability to offer a large variety of home designs and
floorplans, with a wide selection of standard options, to meet the specific needs and
desires of their clients. Their in-house architectural department can also provide custom
changes. |

An equally important factor is R.A. Faganel's ability to
offer more value for the housing dollar. This is brought about by the fact that they
develop their own land, finance their own construction and maintain a loyal, long-standing
relationship with their sub-contractors assuring quality workmanship at highly competitive
rates. The savings realized by Faganel's modus operandi is passed on to buyers in the form
of additional standard features that most other builders offer as options, such as genuine
oak floors and custom trim, fireplaces, full basements, energy-efficient
components and unique construction techniques. |
In 1989, David Faganel brought with him some of
the unique design ideas that helped sell homes in Denver for 8 years and incorporated them
in new plans for R. A. Faganel Builders. These plans, developed around the "open
space" concept, with vaulted ceilings and liberal use of glass, when added to the
traditional designs that built the firm's reputation, resulted in a line with broad appeal
to all segments of the market.
